My standards for what I carry are definitely higher than most online stores you may come across. For the most part, I understand the ingredients listed on pet product labels and, 9 times out of 10, the products out there are just not good enough for your dog. You can google this subject and find plenty of information as to why, but to summarize, feeding highly processed food to your dog each and every day will ultimately lead to health issues later on in life.

I have had dogs in my life for 32 years. In Jamaica, our dogs were fed corn meal and canned meat. In Canada, our dogs were fed table scraps and kibble until about 3 years ago when I decided raw may be worth looking into. I made the switch and every day I still marvel at the differences between a properly fed "raw-fed" dog and a "kibble-fed" dog. Less smell, cleaner ears, even energy, cleaner teeth, softer fur and less shedding are just a few of the most obvious benefits. I am not an extremist in my quest to feed raw food to my dogs. I allow them natural treats that are cooked or smoked and if someone else offers them a milk bone I don't wave my arms like a crazy women and say nooooooooo!!!! I am also acutely aware that budget and convenience dictates what people feed their dogs. There are always ways to feed a healthy diet to your dog on a tight budget.
